Guidelines for framing questions
There are certain rules that need to be followed before framing the questions.
One of the following needs to be kept in mind:
1. Answers to the questions could be in "yes" or "no". For example:
(a) Is person X good for me or not?
(b) Will my partnership with person Y be successful?
(c) Will person P benefit my business? And so on
2. Answers to the questions could be on a "10 point scale". For example:
(a) On a 10 point scale how much is the person Z loyal?
(b) On a 10 point scale how much is the person/deal beneficial for me. And so on.
3. Answers to the questions could be based on the time frame. For example:
(a) From how many months from now will I get promotion?
(b) From how many months from now will my business start realizing profits? and so on.
4. Multiple choice questions. For example:
(a) Who is the best person for me (i) A, (ii) B, (iii) C or (iv) D. And so on.
Please keep in mind that almost all questions can be framed in a way so that their are options available.
